3. Connecting and Using Google Calendar

EZ Smart Courses allows users to choose to connect their Google account for the purpose of adding events and tasks from the EZ Smart Courses calendar to Google Calendar.

The connection is initiated only by the user and is established only after the user approves the requested permissions through Google’s authorization process.

To operate this connection, EZ Smart Courses may receive the email address associated with the connected Google account, as well as authorization credentials such as an Access Token and Refresh Token that allow the system to perform synchronization actions authorized by the user.

When synchronization is enabled, EZ Smart Courses may create events in the user’s Google Calendar based on events and tasks stored in EZ Smart Courses, update those synchronized events when the corresponding information changes in the system, and delete synchronized Google Calendar events when the corresponding event is deleted from the system.

Information transferred to a Google Calendar event may include, depending on the type of event, the event or task title, start and end times, related links, relevant information entered by the user, and information required to identify the event as having been synchronized from EZ Smart Courses.

Access to Google Calendar is used only to provide the synchronization functionality requested by the user.

EZ Smart Courses does not use information obtained through Google Calendar for the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or the creation of advertising profiles.

4. Use of Information Received from Google APIs

EZ Smart Courses uses information received from Google APIs only for the purpose of providing the functionality requested by the user in connection with Google services.

Access to Google information is not granted automatically. The user must choose to connect their Google account and approve the permissions presented through Google’s authorization process.

Information obtained through Google APIs is not sold to third parties and is not used for advertising purposes.

Access is limited to the information and permissions required to provide the synchronization functionality.

5. Disconnecting a Google Account

Connecting to Google Calendar is optional.

Users may stop using the synchronization feature and disconnect their Google account from the system.

When a user disconnects their Google account through the system, EZ Smart Courses takes steps to revoke the Google authorization and remove the stored connection credentials from the system.

After authorization has been revoked, the system will no longer be able to perform new synchronization actions using that authorization.

Users may also manage or revoke permissions granted to external applications and services through their Google Account settings.

6. Information About Students and Website Users

EZ Smart Courses is installed on a WordPress website and enables the website owner to manage their course and community environment.

The website owner may use the system to manage students, courses, content, communications, learning activities, and other information related to the services they provide to their users.

The website owner is responsible for how they use the information of their users and students and for ensuring that such use complies with applicable law and with their obligations to those users.

Where a user wishes to exercise a right relating to information stored on a particular website using EZ Smart Courses, the user may need to contact the relevant website owner directly.

7. Sharing Information with Third Parties
